Airframe for the CreativeRCutah F-35 EDF!
This jet has HUGE control surfaces! I will set it up first on Elevons only, then add in Ailerons... should be very acrobatic!
Very large wingspan... much more than my other jets.
EDF with thrust tube. I set this one up with a 64mm Dynam unit.. left over from a crashed A-10.
As you can see... this design features main wings that are one solid piece, slides through the Fuselage. There is still plenty of room to mount electronics... and plenty of room to move the battery around to just about wherever you want it, or play with different sizes of batteries. This one is set up with a simple 3s 1600mah. During flight, the air will flow through the nacelles and out the back, and it should prove to keep electronics fairly cool with this much airflow! All I have left is to add 2 servos, control rods, and control horns, but other than that, this is where I needed to have everything so far to balance the jet where I expect the COG to be located. I'm waiting for the servos to arrive in the mail... video coming soon.
